Depending on the extent of refurbishment required, old units are equipped with new bearings - worn parts like gear wheels or spindles are re-manufactured and installed; the units are re-varnished.
As the result of a refurbishment, the customers receive an MSH as good as new that is subject to a complete final acceptance procedure like a new unit. In relation to this, when the unit is returned, full acceptance documentation including measuring machine record of the geometrical acceptance and all records of the mechanical final inspection are drawn up and these also include a complete vibration measurement and analysis of the measurements in compliance with the latest quality standards.
